RO is the abbreviation of Reverse Osmosis membrane, which means reverse osmosis in Chinese.
The general flow of water is from low concentration to high concentration, once the water is pressurised, it will flow from high concentration to low concentration, which is also known as the principle of reverse osmosis: as the pore size of RO membrane is 5 parts per million (0.0001 microns) of a hair, which is generally invisible to the naked eye, bacteria and viruses are 5,000 times more than it.
Therefore, only the water molecules and some of the beneficial mineral ions can pass through, other impurities and heavy metals are discharged by the waste pipe.

It is a mistake to avoid flushing for fear that it will produce waste water, but to some extent flushing more frequently will actually reduce the proportion of waste water.
