100 Gpd Filmtec Residential RO Membrane

Filmtec's TW30-1812-100 RO membrane will consistently achieve high desalination rates at low water pressures due to its large active membrane area and advanced chemistry. As the manufacturer has discontinued the product, this is the perfect replacement.

The 100 gpd residential reverse osmosis membrane elements are mainly used in a variety of small domestic and commercial reverse osmosis systems such as various domestic water purifiers, hospital and laboratory water purifiers. They can filter out fine impurities in water, provide long-term stable filtration performance, and are 100% dry storage membranes to maximise shelf life.

Important information

1. The water production listed in the table is an average value, and the difference between the minimum water production of a single membrane element and the nominal value does not exceed 20% of the nominal value.

2. Wet-type membrane elements have been strictly tested before leaving the factory, and use 1 .0% sodium bisulfite (10% propylene glycol antifreeze in winter) solution for storage treatment, and then vacuum packaging, the outer packaging is Cardboard box. In order to prevent the growth of microorganisms during short-term storage, transportation and system standby, it is recommended to soak the components with a protective solution (prepared with RO produced water) containing 1 .0% sodium bisulfite (food grade).

3. The RO produced water in the first hour of operation should be discharged.

4. It is forbidden to add any chemical agents that have an impact on membrane elements during storage and operation.

Notes

If you are replacing a membrane, it is a good idea to replace the drain restrictor on your reverse osmosis system. It may become clogged with years of use (meaning you don't have enough flow to properly flush impurities from the membrane surface, leading to premature membrane failure), or if you are installing a larger or smaller membrane, the flow restrictor needs to be replaced.
